Our client is a next-generation investment platform for ordinary investors. They\’re looking to hire two back-end engineers to join their team and work remotely from anywhere in the world . Their plan is to build a next-gen investment platform that offers hedge-fund-level strategies, commission-free execution, and more intuitive capabilities to help users make money.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience: At least 5+ years of back-end engineering experience

Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Java or other JVM languages

Expertise: Strong expertise in low latency, high throughput distributed systems

Trading Systems: Experience in building trading strategies, latency-sensitive components of trading systems (e.g., exchange integration, order management systems, market data, OTC/RFQ), or exchanges

Mindset: Open-minded, quick learner, and willing to work longer hours typical of start-ups

Responsibilities:

1. Build and optimize HFT infrastructure on top of Aeron cluster: Order management system, pre- and post-trade risk management system, liquidity venue connectors, etc.
2. Enhance latency and throughput for the trading infrastructure
3. Develop automated market-neutral strategies: A blend of on-chain and off-chain strategies ranging from mid to high frequency
4. Implement margining and liquidation logic for margin lending to clients
