We’re working with a leading venture capital firm that invests in cutting-edge deep-tech start-ups (AI, robotics, machine learning, advanced engineering) in their very early stages. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fun environment and has a strong background in Investor Relations. The social, dynamic team is small but expanding, with a culture that emphasises teamwork, support, and a good sense of humour. The Role
You will play a key role in coordinating investor relations, supporting senior leaders, and assisting with events and communications. If you’re proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, this is a great chance to get involved with innovative companies at the beginning of their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate meetings and communications with current and potential investors
- Manage the investor relations mailbox and support the finance team
- Assist with planning and executing events, including an upcoming key event
- Oversee and tidy up the CRM system to track fundraising actions and updates
- Provide executive support to senior members of the team (including diary and meeting management)
The Candidate:
- MUST have previous Investor Relations experience (Venture Capital experience is a plus, but not essential)
- Experience as an Executive Assistant (ideally to C-suite)
- Experience in Private Equity or finance could work well
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, hardworking, and adaptable – you’ll fit in with the team’s collaborative culture
- A great personality – someone mature yet relaxed who enjoys a fun work environment
- Experience in a small team or start-up setting would be beneficial
