You will be required to be in the London office 1-2 days per month for a keeping-in-touch day(s).
Experience: 4-6 years from private equity, investment banking (Associate level), or a fund-of-funds / institutional allocator.
Role Overview: As an Investment Associate, you will be a core member of the investment team, leading the evaluation and execution of commitments to global private equity funds and co-investments. You will build relationships with top-tier sponsors and drive due diligence, underwriting, and portfolio construction efforts for sophisticated clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end diligence on private equity fund commitments (primary funds, re-ups, niche strategies).
- Underwrite co-investments across sectors and geographies, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
- Participate in negotiations of fund and deal terms alongside senior team members and legal counsel.
- Interact directly with GPs to build intelligence, stay informed on pipeline opportunities, and deepen relationships.
- Present recommendations to the Investment Committee and contribute to client portfolio strategy sessions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking (Associate), or a top-tier allocator.
- Deep knowledge of private equity structures, fund mechanics, co-investment processes, and market trends.
- Advanced modelling and valuation skills, with strong investment judgment and commercial instincts.
- Experience dealing directly with GPs and managing multiple concurrent due diligence projects.
- Strong client-facing abilities and a collaborative, intellectually curious approach.
