Take part in a team of 15 lawyers and over 150 regulatory experts dealing with screening and investigations and help handle the fitness-to-practice matters within the healthcare regulatory space. This well-known regulator is looking for three self-starter passionate lawyers to join their team on an interim basis.

Your new role

As an Investigations Lawyer, you will manage your own caseload of fitness-to-practice cases, provide legal advice and engage with internal and external stakeholders, as well as supervise (not manage) senior paralegals within the team. Advocacy will not be involved in this role. The duration of the assignment is initially 2 months, with a high likelihood of extensions and a scope for permanent conversion. One stage interview process and ASAP start date.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales.
  2. Working experience in one or multiple of the following: fitness-to-practice , investigations , inquests , public law, and/or regulatory law (highly desirable).
  3. Experience working for a regulator (highly desirable).
  4. Self-starter, independent, and keen nature, ready to hit the ground running.
