Our long-standing client, established for over 40 years, is seeking a highly dynamic and enthusiastic Inventory Stock Manager to join their Stock Control Team. The role involves managing stock control operations, requiring an upbeat, confident character, ability to work under pressure, excellent time management, accountability skills, and a proactive attitude.
Inventory Stock Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of inbound stock control.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and manage stock levels accordingly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, requiring excellent communication skills.
- Work efficiently within SLAs and deadlines.
- Produce data reports with a solution-oriented approach.
- Manage inbound transport costs.
- Maintain accurate supplier and stock data.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and Stock Control departments.
- Provide support to senior leadership as needed.
- Work independently and proactively support the wider team.
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Manager, Stock Control Manager, or in Supply Chain Leadership is essential.
- Creative mindset with the ability to implement new ideas and processes.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and dynamic personality.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
