Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Accountant to join a Local Authority in Bradford on an interim basis.

As a Technical Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the full year-end process.

About the role

Based in Bradford, you will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the lead financial accountant on year-end accounts production;
2. Liaising with auditors to answer queries on year-end audit;
3. Liaising with stakeholders to obtain evidence and assurance for key accounting adjustments;
4. Assisting with month-end management accounts processes and adjustments;

About you

The ideal candidate must have:

1. Experience in a similar Accountant or Assistant Accountant role;
2. Experience working within the public sector.
