Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Communications and responsible for overseeing a team of 4 across PR and advocacy campaigns, corporate and stakeholder communications and publicity, the role will focus on developing and implementing communications strategy, as well as leading content development and the planning and management of campaign activity. Key practical deliverables will include improving the coherence of messaging to enhance their national profile and ensure high impact media activity.
They are looking for a talented communications professional who will bring strong project and relationship management experience, excellent writing and technical skills, a collegiate working style and a strong appreciation of the organisation’s purpose, to the role. Suitable candidates will have experience of managing a small team, and must demonstrate media relations and campaign management experience, gained either in the NFP or consumer sectors. A sound understanding of the UK political landscape and government frameworks will also be beneficial.
