Get the freedom to work how you want, when you want with our flexible shifts available from Monday through to Sunday. With Pulse you can plan ahead with our block bookings, available to book up to 3 months in advance. Pulse Nursing have recently secured a Tier 0 status with five well established trusts in North Central London. Having a Tier 0 status means that we receive advanced notice of shifts before other agencies, with exclusivity of these shifts. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the Euston area (closest station is Warren Street) paying between £20.00 – £33.00 p/hour PAYE. Intensive Care Nurse responsibilities include: Plan, implement and evaluate care Assist patients with their activities of daily living Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs Perform different types of observations and use of different monitoring systems Use and ensure working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors Care for patient receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation Recognize patient deterioration and timely escalation of care Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives Work as part of a team Make appropriate referrals and Prepare patient for discharge or transfer Keep accurate and timely patient records and follow local policies and procedures To be considered for this role you will need to have: Valid NMC registration At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the ITU Sector Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment. Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one. Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
