The Role

The Integrated Performance Planning Director will serve as the senior planning lead within their business unit, creating digital strategies across Paid Social, Programmatic, Paid Search, and Retail Media. They will lead digital media planning, communicate plans to clients, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technology and channel development align with strategic goals. The role involves leading planning discussions, developing team members, and championing AI-driven audience-first planning approaches.

Contributions will impact our Digital offering and support our mission to build an innovative, AI-driven Performance Practice. This is an opportunity to broaden channel-specific planning skills across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

(BRIEFING STAGE):

  • Ensure all client information needed for planning is delivered.
  • Coordinate with Activation teams to extract data and insights for AI audience-first tactics.
  • Deliver cross-channel media plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Develop and implement performance media strategies and maturity frameworks.

(OPTIMISATION):

  • Create incremental test & learn frameworks with clear outcomes.

(COMMUNICATION):

  • Maintain clear communication throughout campaign delivery.
  • Develop workflow tools between planning and activation teams.

(REPORTING):

  • Deliver high-quality campaign analyses and reports.

(TECH/INNOVATION):

  • Adopt proprietary and third-party tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with media partners on product development.
  • Build relationships with key technology partners.

(BENCHMARKING):

  • Create benchmarks to inform measurement strategies.

(DEVELOPMENT):

  • Lead and develop the Planning team.
  • Create career progression plans.
  • Support new business initiatives.
  • Develop award-winning case studies.

(FINANCE):

  • Ensure financial accuracy in planning and buying processes.

Skills and Experience

(EXPERIENCE):

  • Expertise in digital strategy and campaign planning across digital channels, with willingness to learn activation platforms.

(CERTIFICATIONS):

  • Maintain up-to-date certifications across activation platforms.

(CLIENT SERVICING):

  • Extensive client servicing experience and strong communication skills.

(LEADERSHIP):

  • Proven team management and development skills.
