The successful candidate will focus on the physical setup of hardware and initial software installation at client sites. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; all candidates will be considered. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and test hardware systems, including networking devices, PCs, mobile devices, AV, and telephony equipment. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and technical specifications. Ensure installations meet high standards for performance and reliability. Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshoot issues during installation. Provide feedback and documentation to support escalation processes. Maintain professionalism and customer service on site. Participate in training to stay updated on technologies and techniques. Log all on-site work accurately in the project management system. Skills and Qualifications: HND or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Computer Science, IT). Relevant industry certifications and proven implementation experience. Valid UK driving license. Experience in installing and configuring IT and telecom equipment. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and familiarity with Windows and MacOS.
