Inspection Operative (Nights)

Job Title: Inspection Operative (Night Shift) – Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) Premium Label Solutions – Daventry

Role Summary: As an Inspection Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities include finishing, slitting, rewinding, and packaging products to meet strict quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed visual inspections of labels for defects.
2. Splice rolls using scissors and tape.
3. Set up and operate multiple slitting units.
4. Perform precise slitting according to specifications.
5. Pack finished jobs efficiently.
6. Create core/shipper labels, certificates of compliance, and packing lists.
7. Operate the 100% visual inspection unit.
8. Splice rolls per customer specifications using the splicing table.
9. Perform preventive maintenance on the rewinder as scheduled.
10. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
11. Collaborate with the Inspection Team Leader and Print Trainer, supporting staff assessments and training new team members.

2. Proficiency with IT systems, including in-house databases.

Work Schedule:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 pm – 6:15 am
