Paydek is seeking an Independent Non-Executive Director (iNED) for our London office. The role involves being a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee, requiring up to 16 hours per month. The primary focus is on oversight and challenge to ensure effective controls are in place. We are a financial organization facilitating cross-border payments in multiple currencies worldwide. As a growing organization headquartered in London, we aim to attract a motivated, positive, and responsible individual to strengthen our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the Paydek Board's goals.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Board.
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed throughout the organization.
  • Maintain trust with shareholders, executives, and regulators.
  • Lead audits to ensure compliance with risk and legal standards.
  • Delegate and supervise executive responsibilities, motivating performance.
  • Review and advise on internal controls, including Financial Crime Controls.
  • Analyze issues and provide solutions for company growth and stability.
  • Identify market opportunities and mitigate operational risks.
  • Define operational goals and core competencies.
  • Coordinate with the Board to align efforts with the Risk Appetite Statement and Business Plan.
  • Regularly review and update policies, procedures, and controls.
