Job Title: ICT Associate Director

We are seeking a full-time ICT Associate Director within the Building Engineering Division. This role is based in one of AECOM\’s UK offices.

As part of AECOM’s Security & Technology team, the group provides ICT design and support services to enhance the design activities of the Mechanical and Electrical teams.

The role involves designing ICT systems across various sectors, including office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, and government organizations.

You will have a solid understanding of client business practices and goals, developing solutions for client problems on projects. Under general direction, you will create work plans and task definitions, with broad technical knowledge and specialization or focus area.

What you’ll do!

• Telecoms planning
• Wireless networks
• LAN switch networks
• Design of communication rooms, ICT cabinets, and structured cabling
• Support and interface with third-party IP-based technologies, including security, AV, multimedia, and integrated building systems
• Site inspections, test analysis, and witnessing testing during construction phases

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a design consultancy
• Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) qualification
