We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IBM Z Series Security Administrator to join our client’s IT Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and enhancing the security posture of our IBM Z (mainframe) environment. This role requires deep knowledge of RACF (Resource Access Control Facility), z/OS, and other IBM mainframe security tools and practices.
Key skills/experience:
- 5+ years of experience in IBM Z system administration or security.
- Expert knowledge of RACF and z/OS security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Tivoli zSecure, ACF2, or Top Secret.
- Strong understanding of compliance standards such as SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Consulting background.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Rights to work in the UK is a must (No Sponsorship available).
