For our HR department, we are looking to hire a HR Product Specialist (German speaker) for our London office.

Within our international HR department, we are currently working with multiple HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Perbit, Avature, and Trinet to help with our HR-related processes. To ensure consistent data use and streamline our processes, we are looking to integrate these systems into a database solution, allowing us to streamline the production of various reports and required analytics, so they can be centrally provided to the relevant stakeholders (e.g., Controlling & Reporting, HR management, Talent Acquisition, and the senior management of the bank).

Your role in the team

  1. Integration of various established HR-IT systems into a central internal database
  2. Development and enhancement of existing interfaces to established systems for the use of HR data
  3. Development of audit-proof authorization and user concepts
  4. Independent coordination of the requirements coming from stakeholders (HR, key users, process owners, in-house IT, and external service providers)
  5. Support and initiation of further developments and system adjustments
  6. Participation in digitalisation projects related to HR processes
  7. Significant interaction with the HR teams in Germany, and extensive travel to the Hamburg office, with potential to relocate in the future to Hamburg or Frankfurt

Who are we looking for?

  1. Deep understanding of data models and database structures
  2. Highly capable IT skills, programming experience, data analysis, and systems integration
  3. Ideally some experience in an HR project environment or working with HRIS (e.g., Perbit, Avature, SAP, or Workday) or IT project experience and agile project management (Scrum working) would be desirable
  4. Initial programming experience (SQL) is an advantage
  5. Enthusiasm for the streamlining of different data models and Big Data integration
  6. High affinity for digitalisation topics and interest in new tools and methods
  7. Fluent in both German and English is a pre-requisite
  8. Proactive and strong communication skills
  9. Flexibility to travel to Germany on a regular basis

What we offer you:

  1. Private pension plan – 10% of base salary contribution by Berenberg
  2. Generous 30-day holiday allowance
  3. Private Health Insurance
  4. Life Insurance scheme
  5. Flexible working hours
  6. Enhanced parental leave policies
  7. Employee Assistance Programme offering counselling sessions related to mental health, financial wellbeing, and other topics
