THE COMPANY

Our client is a very well-established nationwide provider of business-critical services to thousands of SME organisations all over the UK for over 75 years. They are currently looking for an HR Advisor to join their team to work overnight.

THE ROLE

The successful HR Advisor will be required to do the following:

  • Work a combination of weekends and weekdays from 9.00pm until 7.00am.
  • Advise across a multi-sector client base on various cases from disciplinary and grievances to complex redundancies.
  • Support clients with legally compliant advice and a personal touch.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of cases to resolution.
  • Build rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction.
  • Record advice accurately against the appropriate cases on relevant databases.
  • Support clients in drafting 'ad-hoc' letters where appropriate.
  • Advise in line with the client's documentation considering their terms and conditions.
  • Attend legal briefings and internal company training to ensure compliance with services.

You will receive a thorough 6-week training course.

CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for a strong HR Advisor with the following experience and attributes:

  • Previous HR experience or previous people management experience.
  • Proactive and creative problem solver.
  • A willingness to learn and the ability to communicate effectively within the team.
  • Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broad knowledge of employment law, HRM and ACAS best practice.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • MS Office knowledge and experience.

This role is commutable from: Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Liverpool, Bolton, Oldham.
