We are seeking a confident and organized Hotel Porter to join our friendly and supportive Reception team.
Our porters at Thyme are crucial to our business, playing a vital role in delivering a first-class guest experience. Responsibilities include luggage delivery, coordinating in-room services such as food & beverage and hampers, concierge services, and guest turndown.
The role requires the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently or in a team, and demonstrate a proactive, \’can-do\’ attitude with initiative and creativity.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests at the turning circle, meet & greet, and luggage delivery (average weight 25kg)
- Delivering F&B room service and in-room services such as hampers
- Managing porter’s stock and site logistics
- Overseeing room inventory and maintaining guest pathways
- Refilling in-house logs and supporting reception
- Providing evening turndown service
- Managing honesty bars, use-by dates, and milk control
- Handling parcels arriving on site
Typical Shift Times:
8am-5pm or 12pm-9pm daily
Knowledge & Experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Confident, proactive attitude
- Excellent personal appearance
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
