This role is ideal for candidates with experience in general insurance pricing to assist in managing our intermediated home portfolio. Location flexibility: Aviva has introduced “smart-working,” and the person in this role could be based anywhere in the UK, provided they can regularly travel to our Norwich office, where the Broker Pricing team is based. About the role: This role is central to our business; working with internal and external partners to manage and optimize our Broker Home pricing. You will leverage your market knowledge, experience in general insurance pricing, modelling tools, and data science techniques to provide analysis-based pricing recommendations. You will also learn about pricing and price optimization, lead our home pricing strategy, serve as a technical reference, and mentor team members. Supporting good customer outcomes through all activities is essential, enabling us to act in good faith and prevent foreseeable harm. Skills and experience required: Strong experience in General Insurance pricing (home insurance experience preferred) Ability to work independently and manage relationships across teams Proven ability to handle and deliver own workload Experience with Radar and advanced Excel skills, with a knack for creative problem-solving Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences internally and externally Benefits: We are committed to our colleagues’ development and well-being.
