Pure Staff is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing work. Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.
Requirements include:
- Site induction, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol test (must pass all three)
- Valid HGV C+E License
- At least 2 years’ experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Cards
- Clean license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
Responsibilities include:
- RDC trunking and store deliveries
- Assisting with unloading trailers (handball)
- Driving modern, well-maintained trucks
- Performing daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining professionalism with customers
- Wearing PPE (safety boots and Hi-Vis) at all times
Start times vary between 06:00 and 09:00. Shifts may last 10 to 12 hours, in compliance with tachograph law. Immediate temporary work available for a client specializing in RDC and store deliveries across the UK, based in Northampton. The client is known for treating drivers well.
