Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need loads more people to turn our vision into a reality. We’re recruiting Plumbers to install our Air Source Heat Pumps. Do you have what it takes to join us on our mission?
What you’ll do:
- Working as part of a team to install low carbon technology in customers’ homes – starting with Air Source Heat Pumps
- Using your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an amazing experience
- Reviewing and collaborating on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
- Working with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
- Continuously learning about new technologies at our innovative R&D training centre
What do we need from you?
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ in: Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services – Plumbing (domestic) AND/OR Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, held for a minimum of three years
- Experience in the installation of boilers – it’s a plus if you know about Air Source Heat Pumps
- Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- You may also have qualifications such as WRAS Water Supply Regs, Gas safe certification, UHW10/HWSS or the BPEC L3 heat pump installation, but these are not essential!
Other qualities we’d love to see include:
- A laser customer focus – communication is key
- A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- WRAS Water Supply Regs or UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems can also be beneficial but not essential!
