Heat Pump Manager

Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in Cambridgeshire, is seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee the efficient and safe execution of GSHP (Ground Source Heat Pump) projects on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site construction activities, including excavation, piping installation, equipment placement, and commissioning, to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship, adherence to specifications, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage site logistics, including equipment mobilization, material handling, and waste disposal, to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a site management or construction supervisory role, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site personnel.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction and site operations.
