Our client is an award-winning event catering company who are looking for a Head of Sales to join their growing team. This role involves a high volume of inbound enquiries, as well as driving new business. Our client is looking for an experienced individual with a proactive approach to sales and a passion for building client relationships.
Main Duties:
- Manage the reactive and proactive sales process
- Maintain and build relationships with venues
- Produce bespoke event proposals in line with the clients' budgets and requirements
- Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
- Attend client meetings, show rounds, tastings and networking events
- Proactively seek opportunities to be listed at new and existing venues
- Carry out competitor analysis
- Produce weekly and monthly sales reports
Requirements:
- Sales Management experience within a venue or an event caterer is essential.
- Proven track record of success in the full sales cycle
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills
- Ability to think outside the box and be creative
