About The Role

These are exciting times at TFG London. We have enjoyed strong growth in recent years and currently have four brands in our portfolio: our iconic fashion brands Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs, and our luxury Homewares brand Inside Story. We are not stopping there; we have big plans for the next three years within our current brands and beyond. We want you to be part of that.

We are keen to appoint a Head of Performance Marketing to our Performance Marketing team to drive high-quality, profitable customer acquisition and sales across all of our brands.

Key accountabilities and KPIs as Head of Performance Marketing include:

  • Own, develop, and deliver performance marketing strategy across the group, growing the business through profitable customer acquisition and retention in both UK and international markets via paid search, SEO, paid social, and affiliate marketing channels.
  • Work closely with merchandising, finance, and wider digital teams to determine forecasts and budgets by channel, aligned with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with CRM and Customer Insight teams to ensure performance marketing aligns with segmentation strategies and opportunities.
  • Manage key agency and business partner relationships (e.g., agencies and Google) to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders in each brand, ensuring integration of activities across marketing channels to support wider business objectives.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to demonstrate the strategic value of performance marketing channels for both customer acquisition and retention, building credible investment cases for new opportunities and managing stakeholder questions or concerns.

About You

To be successful as Head of Performance Marketing, the following skills, experience, and behaviours are required:

  • Performance marketing specialist with extensive experience managing the full suite of channels, ideally gained from a high-growth retail business.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and digital PR.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate content marketing.
  • Experience driving international sales growth, particularly in the US, would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving profitable customer acquisition.
  • Highly commercial, with the confidence and ability to capitalize on opportunities and identify issues quickly, deploying changes where necessary.
  • Innovative, with the ability to generate ideas that can be tested rapidly to challenge current ways of working.
  • Data-obsessed with a highly analytical mindset and the ability to turn complex data sets into easy-to-digest plans.
  • Highly experienced in managing significant budgets (7 figures) to deliver stretching targets.
  • Hands-on experience with analytics packages, preferably Google Analytics.
