Head of IT – FMCG

We are currently searching for a hands-on Head of IT to join this multi-site international FMCG (fresh produce) business. You will be joining during a business-wide digital transformation and other interesting projects. The main focus aside of this is continued development of the IT infrastructure and business systems software. Leading a small knowledgeable team, you will be the architect and also required to roll your sleeves up.

An FMCG – fresh produce sector background is highly desirable.

Working from home is not possible in this role, so you must live within an hour\’s drive of Chichester.

Main Duties

• Develop a clear IT vision, working closely with the senior management team and other stakeholders
• Lead a team of 3
• Digital transformation, security, disaster recovery
• Full Project Management: scope, planning, sourcing, testing, scheduling, and implementation
• Financial and BI reporting, negotiating contracts & budgetary control

Requirements:

• A background working in an FMCG company – highly desirable
• Several years of experience leading an IT function with users across multiple sites
• Likely to currently be an IT Manager, Head of IT, or similar
• Strategic management experience and able to operate at senior management team level within a corporate enterprise
• Demonstrable experience of initiating, managing, and delivering projects
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL, Exchange, Terminal Server/Citrix
