Job Description:
What You’ll Do:
- Drive the development & profitable growth of the Treasury Management Office (TMO) in the assigned region by driving a customer focused culture to deepen existing client relationships and source new transaction banking business across GTB products & solutions.
- Promote business development in line with both business line and the Group’s strategy by focusing on core markets and core solutions across the network. Identify and influence new product development in line with client & market demand and drive any new initiatives in the Region.
- Lead a diverse team with both direct & dual reporting lines comprised of industry aligned treasury management officers (TMOs), and product solutions specialists (PSS) with expertise in cash management, trade & working capital solutions and deposits & investments.
- As a player/manager, provide coaching to TMOs that serve as the primary transaction banking relationship contact for CFOs, Treasurers, VPs of Finance and Controllers in collaboration with other Bank partners. Provide local oversight of the PSS in region.
- Collaborate with key partners including Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Treasury, Global Risk Management, Capital Markets, Investment Banking as well as corporate functions both in the region and across markets as required.
- Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects, and clients, in collaboration with solutions specialists & product partners via on-site and virtual meetings, industry conferences, roundtables, and client entertainment & events across an industry diverse portfolio.
- Leverage GTB Europe’s capabilities to deliver a high level of Cross Border service to primary clients at both the parent level and subsidiary level, supporting the BNS Group’s subsidiaries/affiliates & branches to deliver for primary customers in their respective Region.
What You’ll Bring:
- Substantial experience of transaction banking experience incl. global cash management, liquidity management, trade & working capital solutions and/or corporate banking experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of transaction banking products, credit and risk processes and pricing philosophy.
- Exceptional experience in a Sales, or Product/Account Management, legal and/or credit risk analysis roles within a banking environment.
- Success in managing a team and meeting/exceeding stated growth and return objectives.
- Concern and regard for managing operational and enterprise risk in a developed and highly regulated market.
- Knowledge of Spanish would be desirable but not essential.
