They are now seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Head of Publishing Strategy working across their journals and other publications. This is a crucial role responsible for driving the strategic vision and growth of their publishing activities. This is a hybrid role, based a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in the North West; they offer excellent benefits including 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and an annual salary starting from £67,000.
- Develop and implement financial and strategic plans for journals and publications.
- Ensure high-quality typesetting and printing processes, driving continuous improvement in production processes.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and publishing partners.
- Manage subscription and open-access models and provide strategic guidance on journals development, including new digital initiatives.
