• Interim Head of Finance, £700-£750 per day, hybrid working (London based, 2-3 days on-site)

About Our Client:

A large London-based Council.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team within Financial Management, providing strategic financial advice and support across various Council services and Directorates.
• Support transformation and business-led projects by providing timely and robust financial information to aid decision-making, ensuring budgets are realigned to meet savings targets, and reporting on delivery timelines.
• Offer financial leadership and strategic advice to enable directorates to develop solid financial plans, reflecting the future needs in the Council\’s medium-term financial forecast (MTFF).

Ideal Candidate:

Candidates should have significant experience working in a housing department within a local authority, possess a full accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA), and have management experience.
