An ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Design and Technology to lead a thriving department from September 2025. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Design Technology Teacher ready to step into leadership, or an experienced subject leader looking for a fresh, exciting challenge in a forward-thinking school.
The Role:
- Lead and develop the Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3–5
- Provide inspirational leadership to a team of specialist teachers and technicians
- Monitor teaching and learning standards to drive continual improvement
- Develop innovative teaching strategies and foster a culture of creativity
- Champion student achievement in product design, engineering, textiles and food technology
- Organise extra-curricular opportunities including clubs, competitions, and exhibitions
