Our Financial Services client is looking for a Head of Data Operations in London.
Total Comp: £190k – £230k Base, Car Allowance (Taken as cash) + Bonus + Pension + PMI
Location: London / Hybrid
Purpose: Managing a large team of data professionals (on and offshore) defining the long-term vision of the team, ensuring the effective delivery of all Data Services. Data Operations delivers a suite of services such as Data Masters, Classification, Index Onboarding & Help Desk.
Our client recently rolled out their STOM based on a new Data Strategy and is being backed by the board. The suite of services is expected to grow as data asset owners across the company. This investment in the team will create further opportunities.
Experience needed:
- Head of working within data operations experience.
- Financial Services industry experience (bonus if you have Asset Management or Investment Banking background).
- Experience managing large teams (on and offshore) – 20+ members.
- Built and implemented Data Services aligned to the agreed data strategy.
- Ability to create structure and processes across the team to ensure services are delivered within control/risk parameters.
- Worked in environments that demand large and constant change while also being able to operate effectively in BAU.
