We are seeking a Head of Commercial to be responsible for all commercial activities within our development portfolio of residential and hotel projects. This will be from feasibility/pre-construction through to completion. This includes reporting on all matters of procurement, cost plans and feasibility, cost reporting, commercial strategy, and portfolio risk analysis of residential schemes. This position is for a market-leading commercial manager who knows how to reduce costs and has the drive and ambition to make an instant impact within a rapidly expanding developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide drive for the commercial team to maximise their potential in line with company standards and values.
- Lead the commercial delivery and post contract activities.
- Provide commercial acumen/advise/guidance when required by leaders within the business, through all stages of the project including preconstruction, procurement, bid, contract and construction.
- Ensure processes and procedures are robust and ensure compliance once in operation.
- Have end-to-end ownership of P&L and project budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Provide detailed financial reporting, identifying risks and ensuring all parties are in receipt of up-to-date information.
- Assist with expanding Criterion Capital's contractor and consultant network and their subsequent performance.

- Commercial management professional with construction and development experience of commercial to residential/hotel construction schemes.
- 15+ years’ experience in quantity surveying/commercial management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- 15+ years experience working for Contractors within commercial-to-residential or hotel conversions in a senior management capacity.
