Position: Guidewire Technical Lead Consultant
Employment Type: Contract, Full time
Duration: 6 months

Role – We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead Consultant to lead the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter and have experience leading development teams in complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Guidewire applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and integration.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire configurations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest Guidewire technologies and industry best practices.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- 8+ years in Guidewire.
- Experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in Guidewire implementations.
- Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu scripting, Java, XML, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with Guidewire configuration and integration development.
- Knowledge of database technologies like SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Consulting background.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
