Role overview: The Group Reporting Accountant is part of the group finance team. The role involves maintaining data integrity (completeness and accuracy of data) and ensuring high-quality reports that meet the needs of the business. The Group Reporting Accountant will work closely with the FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams to meet their information requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Reporting: Support the group finance team in producing monthly and annual financial reports. Ensure that Prophix is adapted to meet evolving statutory disclosure requirements. Work with the finance team to ensure complete and accurate monthly reporting in Prophix.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting workflow. Collaborate with FP&A to incorporate new business information requirements into reports.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards to meet business needs. Establish and embed financial policies, procedures, and controls across the group. Develop processes for consistent, timely group reporting suitable for a public company. Promote continuous improvement in chart of accounts rationalisation, month-end close, system performance, etc. Possess good knowledge of, and interest in, consolidation systems. Have technical expertise in IFRS. Work independently and collaboratively. Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement. Engage effectively with business interactions. Experience in group accounting functions and multi-currency consolidation.
