Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and more.
What we are looking for:
- Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred)
- Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, etc.)
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
- Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Ideally, have a full, clean driving license
- Understand and value teamwork
- Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to work on one's own initiative
- CSCS card
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, with some weekend overtime available at premium rates.
Rate of Pay: These are PAYE positions, so you will benefit from accrued holiday pay from day one. Weekly pay. No umbrella payments or fees. Only tax and National Insurance deductions, which will be shown on your payslip.
This is a temporary role, but there is a possibility it could become permanent in the future.
