Also, aligning processes and technology to meet their clients’ wider goals.
They are a small company and work with a range of Partners and Associates in the delivery of high-impact engagement programmes across a range of client organisations. The London-based team is made up of experts in research and analytics, strategic consulting, human resources, and communications.

Primary Purpose
To support the delivery of high-quality research and consulting to our clients, contributing at all phases of the delivery process, including research design, data management, production of deliverables, strategic interpretation and presentation across our practice areas. Key to this role is a proactive attitude, a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn and apply different methodologies.
Key areas of responsibility Include:
Research design and execution
- Demonstrate a good understanding of various methods of data collection and how these can be applied based on the research objectives (both quantitative and qualitative research design)
- Be aware of how evolving technology and media platforms support innovative feedback and insight techniques
- Support questionnaire development and survey testing procedures
- Programme online surveys, including complex routing and layout design
- Support the undertaking of qualitative research exercises through the facilitation and capturing of content
- Support in the planning and administration of bespoke and third-party diagnostic tools and assessments used in our individual leadership and leadership team development programmes
- Support in the smooth delivery of our productised research solutions across our practice areas.
- Ensure the chosen research solution suits the research subject, audience and key stakeholders
Analysis and interpretation of research data
- Manage, clean and process large data sets both quickly and efficiently
- Have a strong understanding of basic statistical concepts, including percentages, means, standard errors and confidence intervals
- Design, produce and interpret simple cross-tabulation analyses
- Undertake statistical testing and analyses for use in smart analytics
- Interpret qualitative data to identify themes and develop meaningful representations of these
- Interpret the results of bespoke and third-party diagnostic tools and assessments used in our individual leadership and leadership team development programmes
- Apply bespoke and standardised analysis to ENGAGE productised research solutions
Reporting
- Create graphical and explanatory reports to present findings to clients
- Support in the build and production of online and offline reporting solutions for clients, including strategic presentations, summary dashboards, online data reports, response rate tools
- Proof reports and presentations
- Prepare summary reports of bespoke and third-party diagnostic tools and assessments for our individual leadership and leadership team development programmes
Project Management
- Co-ordinate research projects as part of a team
- Compile timelines, monitor project progress and suggest appropriate actions when scheduling issues arise
- Prepare and deliver project briefings with team members
- Effectively communicate project progress, risks and updates to client project teams
Innovation & Marketing
- Learn about, and share, relevant innovations within technology, industry and client organisations and undertake relevant competitor analysis
- Support in the development of our innovations (products, approaches and methodologies) including QA, client and market testing
- Development of marketing material and thought leadership (including case studies, online and social media content, white papers and PoVs)
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our systems and processes to support our commitment to constant improvement and innovation
Business Development
- Consistently support and take ownership of the delivery of outstanding customer service to ensure client retention and growth
- Identification of existing client growth opportunities and risks
- Background desk research on existing and new/potential clients (e.g. compiling business profile summaries, and information for proposals)
- Contribution to new business pitches, proposals and project design
Skills & Experience
- Excellent administrative and project management skills
- A keen eye for detail, demonstrable commitment to quality and accuracy
- Strong numerical skills and understanding of the basic techniques that can be used to explore the causal relationships that exist within a set of research findings
- Confidence (and ideally experience) in working with large and complex datasets
- Familiarity with evolving technology and media channels used to communicate, connect and collect feedback from various audiences
- Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS (desirable)
- Sound ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to use your initiative and enjoy working in a team
