You will benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate, you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants, you\’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You\’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects, which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Human Factors: Become part of our People-Centred Design Team. Working across different sectors (including nuclear, rail, mobility, oil and gas, financial institutions, and local government), you will join an expert team made up of Human Factors and Inclusive Design specialists who advise clients on people-centred design issues to meet user needs, standards, and regulatory requirements. As a member of the People-Centred Design Team, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects to develop your technical human factors skills and understand people issues within a variety of different industries, whilst working towards your Chartership of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF).
Accepted Degrees: BSc / MSc Ergonomics and Human Factors
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master\’s or bachelor\’s degree.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible, we embrace virtual working).
