Job Description:
KJN Automation Ltd have an exciting position for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team in the design and supply of aluminium profile and accessories.
As part of the Rubix Group, this is a great opportunity to help support the continued growth of the company.
For this role, you will be working daily with SolidWorks; previous experience is required, but working with aluminium profile and accessories is not essential.
The role involves working within a small friendly team of designers to create SolidWorks drawings from customer sketches and drawings for approval. Working across a wide range of industries, from simple frameworks to full factory solutions, means no one day is the same.
Other tasks will include:
- Liaising closely with customers and suppliers
- Organising and controlling multiple projects simultaneously
- Liaising with the purchasing team to coordinate outsourcing of materials
- Creation of part numbers and BOMs
- Coordinating and supporting the production team
Experience:
HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
5 years plus in mechanical design & testing would be preferable.
