You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and delivery of customer training on our chromatography solutions (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, HPLC) .
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade, and preventive maintenance activities
- Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently
- Coordinate with managers and sales teams to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
- Maintain Agilentβs customer service reputation by adhering to all corporate policies and procedures
- Complete administrative paperwork and reports promptly and accurately
- Provide feedback to Product Specialists, manufacturing, or OEM vendors regarding performance issues – use the complaint system as required
- Address customer requests proactively and communicate effectively before, during, and after service
For this role, you will work remotely with travel to customer sites (4-5 days per week, occasional nights away) in the Cambridge / North London area . A company car will be provided.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- A recent degree in a Chemistry-related field (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.)
- Hands-on experience (internship, university project, or first job) with chromatography solutions (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, HPLC)
- Proficiency in English
- A valid driving license
On a personal level, you should be proactive , outgoing , and customer-oriented . You enjoy working independently and in a team, solving various problems, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external partners.
