The Go to Market Manager is part of the B2B Customer team, reporting to the Senior GTM manager, supported by one assistant GTM manager. The role is responsible for defining measurable and targeted plans to promote categories and products, supported by supplier funding and joint business objectives.

The Go to Market Manager will work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to identify opportunities to acquire new customers (and drive repeat spend with existing customers) by developing campaigns that span our full range of categories, targeted at specific small and medium business segments. They will align with the commercial team on our strategic supplier priorities and develop joint annual campaign plans that fit with our overall promotional calendar, maximizing the funding and effectiveness of assets in our channels and other marketing channels. They will consider new and innovative ways of landing product and supplier propositions with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category-specific campaign plans aligned with our marketing strategy.
  • Create a prioritized category and product messaging roadmap, supported by strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with supplier marketing teams to maximize investment and land joint messages and campaigns effectively.
  • Drive technology opportunities with targeted B2B customer groups, demonstrating thought leadership in leveraging new growth areas.
  • Stay updated on the latest tech trends (e.g., AI, operating systems, computing technology) and help colleagues demystify tech language for B2B customers to increase demand.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance B2B messaging in branded spaces outside of B2B Hubs, increasing direct sales or referrals to our sales team.
  • Maximize incremental trading account funding through strategic supplier joint plans.
  • Manage and develop the assistant GTM manager, utilizing smaller campaigns and supplier partnerships to enhance their experience.
Key Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Experience in buying or marketing, such as an assistant buyer/marketer in a sizable category or a category buyer/marketer.
  • A degree is desirable.
