  • Lead development of NPD projects across different product categories, throughout the whole innovation process.
  • Craft new product concepts addressing real consumer needs, market opportunities and industry trends.
  • Work with R&D, Project Management, Design, Finance, Legal and other cross functional teams across different elements of the product proposition: including claims, packaging, copy, financials.
  • Work within the gate process to ensure deliverables are provided on time to ensure the smooth running of the projects, in line with deadlines.
  • Create and deliver key presentations to the management team and markets, to channel inputs and decisions from stakeholders.

Consumer Insights:

  • Work in partnership with the Marketing Insight Team to understand consumer needs and identify market opportunities.
  • Turn consumer data into actionable insight to shape strategic recommendations and drive business decisions.
  • With Marketing Insight, organize consumer testing to answer consumer questions, and support claims development.
  • Oversee strategic plan for different product categories, executing wider innovation roadmap.
  • Understand, map, and analyse competitor portfolio and launches.
  • Monitor and understand the different markets, technologies, and beauty-tech trends.

Budgeting & Financials:

  • Own the marketing budget for NPD projects under your remit.
  • Own key project inputs:Calculate size of prizeBuild volume assumptions and inputs.Together with finance business partners, own project P&LBuild suggested pricing and rationale.
  • Analyse product category financials and P&L.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 6 yearsโ€™ experience in a Marketing innovation/NPD role, including in an FMCG or tech company, ideally in beauty or fashion.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and web based/ social media applications.
