Job Description:

My client is a global leader in the chemical and life sciences sector, at the forefront of shaping industries and improving lives through cutting-edge solutions. As the Global Head of Procurement – Facility Management, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing procurement across facility management, real estate, and fleet. You will lead a team of six procurement professionals, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a global spend of €450M across facility management, real estate, and fleet categories.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to deliver best-in-class procurement strategies and practices.
  3. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and cost savings.
  5. Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and value for the organization.
  6. Lead complex cross-functional projects, taking ownership from conception to execution.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive procurement experience in facility management, real estate, and fleet categories on a global scale.
  2. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  3. Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and value through strategic procurement initiatives.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Professional fluency in English is essential, other EU languages beneficial.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
