Global Financial Controller

A SaaS company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Financial Controller to join their growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the consolidated group reporting, including the review of local entity accounts and multi-currency, multi-subsidiary consolidation in compliance with IFRS. This position offers flexibility with remote work but also has a small office in London.

Your new role

1. Ensuring consistent financial practices across the organisation.
2. Working with other departments like Treasury, FP&A, and Tax to provide financial insights and support business goals.
3. Providing financial guidance and support to senior management for informed decision-making.
4. Managing the entire financial reporting process, including consolidation, internal and external reporting, and regulatory compliance.
5. Overseeing external and internal audits, acting as the primary point of contact with auditors.
6. Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust financial systems and internal controls.
7. Providing timely and accurate financial information to support management needs.

What you’ll need to succeed

1. Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
2. 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a publicly listed company.
3. 10+ years of experience in accounting/controllership, including leadership roles in global or multi-entity organisations.
4. Strong IFRS knowledge and consolidation experience.
