We are working with a leading high street fashion supplier known for delivering on-trend, high-quality womenswear to both high street fashion retailers and supermarkets. They pride themselves on creative innovation and commitment to meeting their customers’ needs. Joining them means contributing to shaping the future of Girlswear high street fashion with inspiring designs.

They are seeking a talented and experienced Girlswear Designer to join their well-established multi-product team. The role involves creating trend-driven collections (primarily woven and jersey) that cater to a diverse customer base and target audience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Girlswear collections from concept to final product, ensuring alignment with customer expectations. Key responsibilities include sourcing fabrics, creating detailed specifications, collaborating with pattern makers, participating in customer meetings, working with sales and other departments, and staying updated on emerging fashion trends in Girlswear.

Additional duties include conducting market research and trend analysis to identify key shapes, colors, and fabrics for upcoming seasons.

Must Haves to Be Shortlisted

• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Recent solid experience in designing multi-product Girlswear collections, preferably with a high street supplier or retailer.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and pattern making.
• Experience presenting to buyers.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for Girlswear fashion and design.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• UK-based and eligible to work in the UK for 5 or more years.
