General Loss Adjuster

Job Profile

• Working within the General Property team, you will be expected to manage property claims ranging from minor damage to major to catastrophic events.
• As a Commercial/Domestic Loss Adjuster, you will be assigned your own region and a mixed claims portfolio.
• The role will be home-based with regular regional travel required throughout North London and surrounding counties, with occasional overnight stays depending on the location.
• You will support valued clients by proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of property claims, valued up to £100k.
• These claims can vary in complexity, so it\’s essential to understand the policyholder\’s perspective, investigate each claim tactfully and calmly, establish facts, review policy details, and work towards a resolution.
• Candidates must demonstrate previous loss adjusting experience dealing with domestic or commercial losses.
• You must be able to work from a home base, be self-motivated, and adhere to SLAs and KPIs throughout each claim.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Progression towards professional qualifications such as CertCILA, DipCILA, ACII, or ACILA would be beneficial.
