Gen AI Developer, London

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Gen AI specialist to join our dynamic Gen AI COE inside NTT DATA UK&I. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing AI solutions ideally using AWS technology. This role requires a deep understanding of generative AI techniques.

The selected candidate would eventually take on a wider range of responsibilities, within our COE, for example to work on novel projects. The GraphRAG solution is however a good place to start and be a proving ground.

What you’ll be doing:

Key Responsibilities

1. Deploy solution into new customer tenant (based on a re-usable method)
2. Onboard customer documents into the solution, including making sure diagrams have been properly parsed.
3. Configure Langchain for vector processing and graph extraction
4. Create agents to generate new outputs from existing knowledge graph
5. Tune prompts so that customers can find the information they are looking for
6. Collaborate with off-shore teams and share knowledge with other AI developers around the world.

What experience you’ll bring:

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Technical data engineer with a strong desire and drive to learn new technologies, and to apply these technologies in new spaces
2. Someone with a real technical facility to solve problems without significant oversight or leadership
3. An understanding of AI, and AI ethics
4. An understanding of data safety in use of Large Language Models
5. Knowledge and experience of either AWS or Azure: AWS (boto3, Bedrock, Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, EC2) Azure (azure Open AI service, Cosmos DB)
6. Python

Preferred Qualifications

1. Langgraph
2. Neo4j/cypher
3. Other coding languages/frameworks e.g. Java/.Net
4. AI RAG (retrieval augmented generation)
5. Graph RAG
6. Embedding models/LLMs – how they work, how they are trained

Other Requirements

1. SC cleared or 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK and be prepared to go through SC clearance process.
