RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Team overview:

The Regulatory Controls Management Team (RCM), within Global Banking & Markets Operating Risk (GMOR), manages pre-trade and trade controls for regulatory obligations for Sales and Traders in the GBM division. Responsibilities include control design, implementation, enhancements, and ongoing oversight to manage regulatory risk effectively.

Our team is leading a near-term (1-2 years) implementation of firmwide Management Information (MI) standards and tooling, requiring a detailed understanding of trade lifecycle, metrics framework, and GBM’s businesses, processes, technology, and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop requirements for MI review workflows to enhance visibility and facilitate escalation to sales/trading supervisors.
  • Support MI tooling implementation, including UAT testing and training for desk supervisors.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Trading, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Engineering teams globally to design and improve MI tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years relevant experience, with exposure to global markets businesses/products (physicals and derivatives) and trade lifecycle, focusing on Sales & Trading workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales/Trading, Engineering, and Operations to define business requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data for root cause, trending, and impact assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with data blending and visualization software like Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with business decision modeling, user acceptance testing, and regression testing is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in developing a career in global markets and investment banking.
