Location: Home based in the Midlands – Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Stafford, Burton Upon Trent, Coventry, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Rugby

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Van and Uniform included)

Start Date: ASAP

Established firm in the security sector is currently recruiting a Gate Engineer / Gate Automation Repair and Service Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Identifying and repairing faults, including preventative maintenance
2. Carrying out gate force testing and risk assessments
3. Being on the on-call rota

Requirements:

1. Previous electrical experience
2. Mechanical knowledge and experience in welding
3. Strong fault-finding skills
4. Ideally DHF accredited in automated gates
5. Experience in CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry Systems is an advantage

The role will suit individuals currently working as an Automated Gate Engineer, Electric Gate Service Technician, Barrier Engineer, Security Door Engineer, or Field Service Engineer, and living within a commutable distance of the specified areas or willing to relocate.
