About the Client: Our client is a leading company within the waste management sector, committed to sustainability and operational excellence. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Gantry Crane Operator to join their team in Sittingbourne on a temp-to-perm basis.
Role Overview: As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gantry cranes, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely within the facility. This is a shift-based role, offering competitive pay and the potential for permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the gantry crane to move materials within the waste management facility.
- Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
- Perform regular inspections of the crane and associated equipment.
