If not then why not! One of the biggest names worldwide is looking for a Games Software Engineer to join their development team, based close to Heathrow. As a Games Software Engineer you will be expected to develop and maintain a wide understanding of all Linux based platforms including the graphics components that can be used in Mobile devices and to provide high level technical input to architectural designs within the Core Graphics group and other groups. Skills and Attributes: A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any related discipline (an equivalent period of industrial experience may be substituted). A proven track record in real time embedded software development preferably for mobile devices with an understanding of the embedded development environments and associated development restrictions. Good knowledge of Android platform. Experience on application development and Application Framework on Android. Proficiency in Java and one or more of the C, C++ programming languages. Expertise in Graphics and familiar with the use of 3D Graphics technologies (e.g. Open GL) used in creation of visual effects for application development. Experience in software testing and debugging techniques on embedded targets and in the use software debugging tools and basic laboratory equipment.
