Are you looking to join a global, well-established air freight logistics company? First Call Talent Solutions is recruiting a permanent Freight Forwarder to join their team in Slough near Heathrow Airport.

Position Details:

• Permanent Contract
• Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm
• Your Birthday Off
• Pension Scheme

Job Duties of a Freight Forwarder:

• Liaising with Air, Sea, and Road carriers regarding routes, schedules, and rates.
• Booking cargo space with air, sea, and road carriers/couriers.
• Preparing all shipping documentation.
• Screening freight material (training provided).
• Daily communication with customers and suppliers.
• Maintaining file administration, including processing sales & supplier invoicing and credit notes.
• Processing Dangerous Goods shipments following IATA DG rules and regulations (training can be provided).

Requirements of a Freight Forwarder:

• Experience with CDS/CHIEF, CCS UK, airline sheds.
• Experience with ETSF warehouse and ETSF import clearances preferred; training can be provided.
• Strong communication, presentation, and numerical skills.
