We are looking for a Freelance Account Director to join our Client Services team in London.

The Client Services team at 1000heads is the engine that keeps all of our accounts powered. Our business is understanding what our clients need and delivering the solutions to help them get there. We do this via our extensive knowledge of sectors and business drivers, a potent blend of strategic and creative thinking, and exceptional organisation and project management skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest brands such as Amazon, Ancestry, Google, and The North Face.

To be part of the Client Services team at 1000heads, you must be a passionate, detail-oriented communications expert, driven by the need to make things work.

Role

To manage several major global accounts and develop both existing and new client relationships.

  1. Develop innovative and creative ideas and solutions for client campaigns.
  2. Build client relationships by listening and understanding individual client requirements, and consistently meeting or exceeding their expectations. Understand their brands and customers.
  3. Maximise revenue from clients.
  4. Present to clients and attend client meetings, partner meetings, and events.
  5. Monitor and understand your clients’ markets; stay aware of market issues and competitive activity.
  6. Manage client reviews with senior clients.
  7. Manage a team to deliver effective performance at all levels.
  8. Create project briefs, collaborate with team members to develop ideas, and present and sell these ideas to clients.
  9. Create project plans and specification documents.
  10. Produce accurate cost estimates and ensure they are approved by clients before work begins.
  11. Ensure campaigns stay within agreed budgets and that clients approve all expenditures beforehand, especially unexpected costs.
  12. Ensure all billing is completed on time.
  13. Deliver campaigns efficiently, on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  14. Coordinate with partner agencies during campaign execution.
  15. Work with Finance to ensure invoices are paid promptly.
  16. Keep track of timesheets and expense claims.
  17. Maintain the overall quality of the final deliverables for projects managed.
